A Black Tie Wedding at The Ashford Estate The Ashford Estate was the perfect wedding venue for Gracie and Mitch’s classy vintage romance wedding. The estate has high ceilings, huge windows, and plenty of space for guests to dance and relax. The expansive grounds have waterfalls, gazebos, arbors, and fountains to wander around and take photos. This sprawling estate is a piece of the countryside in the middle of New Jersey. The first time Mitch saw Gracie in her wedding dress was as she walked down the aisle, making their ceremony all the more special and emotional. Gracie wore a satin silk crepe gown by Alexandra Grecco with floral details added along the straps. Minimalist Wedding Colors + Maximal Attention to Detail Gracie and Mitch were committed to a black and white wedding color scheme -- from black satin bridesmaid dresses to all white bouquets. That didn’t stop them from creating a unique wedding with the attention they paid to small details. Pops of gold, a locally hand-crafted cake, and custom cocktails are just some of the personalized elements of this wedding. The couple had signature cocktails created for their big day so even their drinks were customized. They also invited their guests to take a disposable camera to capture their own memories from the night. The stationary for their wedding was the most personal item of all, the bride has her own design company which allowed her to put her own finishing touches on her wedding details. The menus, invitations, and more were all designed by the bride.
