Having met while on a co-ed football team, Natalie was drawn to Mike's patient, fun-loving personality. That connection soon turned into a beautiful love story that resulted in their chic wedding day that was everything imaginable and more. From the upbeat, live band to her stunning, unique wedding dress, their big day was filled with delicious food, an abundance of cocktails, and wonderful family and friends that joined in their celebration.

Q. How did Mike pop the big question?
A. Mike bought a cabin with a few of his buddies and he surprised me with an intimate date night our first weekend there alone. We walked down to the end of the dock to fish, but once there, he pulled out a little box and got down on his knee. It was so surreal and wonderful! Like many ladies, I don’t recall exactly what he said, but I remember realizing what was happening and so much excitement came over me! I think I started planning the wedding the next day I was so excited!

Q. What made you choose your Kennedy Blue gown?
A. I probably tried on about 8-10 wedding gowns and there were many dresses that I liked but I would easily tie something about each dress to a friend’s or family member’s gown who had recently gotten married. I wanted to find a unique wedding dress that was classic and romantic. When I tried on the Kennedy Blue gown, something just felt different and in a great way! I had been told by others that I will just know when I try on “the dress” and I completely felt that with this dress.

Q. What part of planning did you find to be the most difficult and why?
A. The original planning of our seating chart started off easy, but as the time drew closer to our day, it caused the most stress. We had a few people cancel who had already RSVP’d and I got a little ahead of myself and had already printed the table cards. This caused a little coordination and re-work, plus we wanted to ensure everyone sat by people they’d enjoy spending time with.

Q. What advice would you give to other brides?
A. Don’t get too caught up in the planning. Look to your bridesmaids for help – believe me, they will be happy to take some stress off your plate! The time goes by quickly for both the planning as well as the actual wedding day so take it all in and remember at the end of the day, it’s about you and your hubby-to-be.
