Home Try On Bridesmaid Dresses: How It Works

Ordering bridesmaid dresses to try on is super simple! All you have to do is pick your styles & sizes you prefer and they'll be shipped right to your home. Here's what to expect throughout the try on process

1) Order Bridesmaid Dress Try Ons in Your Preferred Styles & Sizes

Choose your favorite styles from the bridesmaid dress sample page to get started! Select different styles you like in the same size, the same styles in all different sizes, or whatever you prefer! Keep in mind that these are just sample dresses, so they may not be available in the exact color you would like. Their purpose is so you can see the dress in person, feel the fabric, and get a feel for your ideal size before purchasing your actual dress!

When the dresses have shipped, you'll receive an email with tracking information so you know exactly when to expect your shipment!

Everyone in your group can try on bridesmaid dresses at home. For the mamas-to-be, there are also maternity at home try ons to trial! And for the younger members of the group, junior try on dresses are available as well!

2) Try On Bridesmaid Dresses at Home or with Your Bridesmaid Group

You have three days to try on the bridesmaid dresses before you need to send them back, so take your time choosing your favorite! It might be a fun idea to gather with the bridal party and try on dresses together to see how they look together. Or, if you’re all spread out across the country, you could FaceTime or send photos! Save some pics for your own reference, too.

Don’t forget to look at your color swatches, too. If your sample dresses aren’t available in the exact colors you are looking for, this is the perfect way to see them in person! Add them onto your order - most of the time, you can snag some for free!

3) Take Your Measurements for a Better Fit

If your sample doesn’t quite fit right, don’t worry! Each At Home Try-On order comes with a measuring tape and a size chart. Simply take your bust, waist and hip measurements and compare them to the size chart. That way, you can accurately determine what size will fit best. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions on how to take your measurements. Or if you want to send us your measurements, we can also assist in determining what size will be your best fit.

Tip: If your measurements are putting you in between sizes, you’ll typically want to base your size off of your largest measurement. It's easier to make a dress smaller than it is to make it bigger when it comes to alterations!

How to Take Your Bridesmaid Dress Measurements:

To get the most accurate measurements, it's best if you have someone to help you out! However, you can also take them on your own if needed. Make sure to use a soft, flexible measuring tape (found with your at home try ons!) to get the closest read. Here's how to measure the 3 important areas:

How to Measure Your Bust: Before measuring, make sure you're wearing the undergarments that you will wear with the dress (or something similar). Wrap the measuring tape around your back and under your arms at the fullest part of your bust.

How to Measure Your Waist: Measure around your natural waist. To find where your natural waist is, stand up straight and bend to the side. The crease created is your natural waist! Wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your natural waist.

How to Measure Your Hips: Make sure you are standing with your feet together. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and butt.

4) Ship the At Home Try On Dresses Back

It's easy to ship your sample dresses back! Once three days are up, place your dresses in the mail. Use the bag with the pre-paid shipping label found in your package. Not sure when your three days are up? Check for a note on your packing slip that stating when to ship the dresses back in the mail. 5) Decide On & Order Your Actual Bridesmaid Dress

Once you have a feel for the style, size, and color you want - it's time to order! Find your specific bridesmaid dress by typing the dress name in the search bar, or browse the bridesmaid dress collection page. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email (within 3-5 business days) with an estimated ship date – yay!
